Using a lamp
The lamp's page is where you control it directly, over your own network - no account and no internet needed.
- Power and brightness at the top.
- Colours: the colour wheel sets up to three colours, which effects and palettes use.
- Effects: more than a hundred animations. Most have sliders for speed, intensity and more.
- Palettes: the colour schemes the effects draw with.
- Presets: save what the lamp shows right now and bring it back with one tap. A preset keeps the look, not the brightness: playing one leaves the lamp as bright as it is. Playlists play several presets in turn, on the lamp's own timer - so a playlist keeps going without Wi-Fi or the cloud. While one plays, it is marked in the list.
- Peek shows what the lamp shows right now, drawn as the lamp: an Ice Light as its lamp, a crystal as it is built, a cube in 3D - drag it to turn it.
- Settings, the gear at the top: the lamp's own settings - and on a stripe, crystal, cube or panel its light setup.
Parts
A stripe, crystal, cube or panel can be divided into parts that each show their own effect, palette and colours - a crystal and its base, for example. On such a light, the Colours and Effects tabs have a button for each part at the top, with All first. Choose a part and the next colour, palette or effect goes to that part only; choose it again, or All, to change the whole light. The parts themselves are set in the light setup.
