Your lamp's name

Every lamp has a name of its own: its model and four characters that are different on every lamp, like Ice-Light-7D3F. You will see this name as the lamp's own Wi-Fi network, as its address on your home network and in the cloud panel. You can rename it later.

A stripe, crystal, cube or panel is called Trip-Light- and four characters until it has been told what kind of light it is, then after its kind: Stripe-7D3F, Crystal-7D3F, Cube-7D3F or Panel-7D3F.

When you rename a lamp, it tells your network straight away: it reconnects to your Wi-Fi for a few seconds, withdraws its old name and announces the new one, so your router and the other devices on your network show only the new name.
