Account settings

On the Account settings page you can:

  • under Appearance, switch the panel to Light mode, and switch its moving background on or off. The background takes its colours from the palette of your default group,
  • under Effect previews, choose where the panel shows lamps playing your effects:
    • Synced groups - a lamp on each synced group's card,
    • Lights in groups that are not synced - a small lamp beside each of those lights,
    • Effects & colour - the lamp in the control panel that shows a change as you make it,
    • Live previews on by default - the Live previews switch on the Presets, Community and Shared Sync pages starts on, so every lamp there plays. It is on to begin with. Flipping the switch on one of those pages is remembered on that device until you change this setting,
  • under Sign-in and security, change your password and turn on two-factor authentication: signing in then also asks for the six-digit code from an authenticator app on your phone,
  • under REST API, make and name tokens for scripts and home automation, and see how many requests they made against the account's limit, as a live graph - see REST API,
  • delete your account. Every lamp is unlinked and can be added to an account again; the lamps themselves keep working and keep their settings.

The settings under Appearance and Effect previews are saved with your account, so they are the same on every device.

The effect previews move with the effects, which older computers and phones can find heavy. If the Lights page stutters, switch them off here.
