Connecting a lamp to your Wi-Fi

1. Switch the lamp on (see Lamp models for how). When it cannot connect to a Wi-Fi network - the first time, or when the network it knows is not there - it opens its own after a few seconds: a network with the lamp's name, like Ice-Light-7D3F. It has no password.
2. Connect your phone or computer to that network. On most phones the lamp's setup page opens by itself. If it does not, open a browser and go to http://4.3.2.1. A stripe, crystal, cube or panel asks first what kind of light it is.
3. The page says the lamp is ready. Choose Set up Wi-Fi, pick your home network and enter its password.
4. The lamp restarts and joins your network. Connect your phone back to your home Wi-Fi.

If you would rather not connect it at all, choose Use in Access Point Mode: the lamp keeps its own network, and you connect to that network whenever you want to change something.
